Did you ever dream of having the opportunity to meet a YouTuber with over 500K subscribers and a Twitch streamer with over 100K followers? Meet Bea, who will tell us about her adventures launching the channel.
How did you start playing Roblox?
I began playing Roblox in 2009 when I was 10 years old. My first account was made then. Roblox was becoming popular and my friends at school told me about it, and so we made accounts so that we could play together!
How did you start the channel?
I started my YouTube channel originally 10 years ago so that I could share my Minecraft gameplay with my friends. It slowly developed as I realised I really enjoyed making videos. Over time, it expanded into Roblox and other games and now, here we are.
When you started the YouTube channel, did you ever imagine you would achieve such success?
No. I always did it for fun, but I knew I’d have loved it if it became my job one day. I never thought it actually would though.
Did anyone in particular inspire you to create the channel? If so, who was it?
My original channel was inspired by various Minecraft youtubers around 2014. I loved a lot of their content and wanted to make videos like they did.
Which type of video do you prefer to post on your channel, and why?
I prefer making vlogs nowadays more than anything. I love the natural feeling of sharing my life with people. It’s my favourite thing to do.
What content do you post most frequently on your channel, and why?
I mainly livestream the most now. Streaming is my favourite overall content to create. It feels more personal and more connected to my audience.
What strategies did you use to gain as many subscribers as possible for your channel?
Posting as much as I possibly could without burning out.
How do you envision the future of your channel?
I will probably focus more on Twitch and YouTube vlogs in the future. But only time will tell!
Have you had any other experiences that have had a significant impact on you or left a lasting impression?
The biggest impact I feel I’ve ever experienced and I hope to be remembered by is the incredible fundraising efforts my community have made towards the Children’s Miracle Network among other charities. I will always be most proud of that.
How do you feel about the evolution of your channel, and has anything in particular impressed you?
I was once the most-watched Roblox YouTube livestream and the most watched gaming livestream on YouTube when the RH New School released. That was pretty cool.
